All Marion Community Schools families are invited to an immunization clinic at Marion High School the evening of Oct. 9 for students to get caught up on regular immunizations required for school attendance (or in some cases to get a jump start on requirements for next school year).
If your student is behind on their required immunizations, you should have received a notification from your school. If you have questions about whether your student is up to date on all required immunizations, you can check with your health care provider or with your school nurse. (Call your school building and ask for the nurse.)
You can view required and recommended vaccinations here. Any student who is behind on required vaccinations is eligible for this catch-up clinic, and students who will be in kindergarten, 6th, or 12th grade next school year may be eligible to get vaccinations that will be required for them for next school year.
The catch-up clinic is set for 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9 at the Marion High School library (enter at the main front door, Door 1). The clinic is convenient, no doctor's appointment needed! But we do ask for pre-registration, so that we can make sure to have the needed supplies available.
>> If interested in this option, please register your student(s) by noon Monday, Oct. 7! Click here to register. The enrollment code is IN65942.
Please note that all required and recommended vaccines will be administered during this clinic. There is a secondary opt-out process if you only want certain immunizations. Participation in this clinic is completely voluntary.
If you have questions, please contact your school nurse.
