Riverview Elementary students got a special opportunity recently to learn about our country's history on Constitution Day!
 
Lt. Col. Kilgren (retired) came and spoke with our students about the U.S. Constitution. The students really enjoyed his presentation!
 
Constitution Day is observed every year on Sept. 17, in honor of the day in 1787 that delegates to the Constitutional Convention signed the document in Philadelphia. For more than 200 years since, the Constitution has stood strong as the supreme law of our country.
